Purpose: Falling trees and brush for line cutting and exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a chainsaw to fall trees and brush for line cutting and exploration.

Skills:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Must be physically fit for demanding work.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
  • Effective verbal and listening communications skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Time management and problem solving skills required.

Tickets:

  • Chainsaw Faller Level I: Students successfully passing this course are not prepared to
    safely fall trees on worksite;
  • Chainsaw Faller Level II: Entry Faller certified;
  • Level III: Oil and Gas Faller certified;
  • Level IV: Faller Tutor certified (allowed to supervise);
    (Faller Level III & IV are required to fall trees over 6” in diameter)  
  • First Aid/CPR and H2S Alive are a pre-job requisite.

Other: Valid driver's licence, willing to travel, remote locations.
